Perhaps Moyes is keeping hold of him incase peanuts moves? Or he isn't training hard enough?

Can still remember his first game for us, him on the left wing, Pienaar on the right wing.. Boss that game weren't he?

He scored some stunners last season, and showed a glimpse of potential. Whether we could have sold him is another matter. Did anyone bid for him? Chances are we would have lost money on the transaction.

But I agree that a dedicated winger that costs 9m should be starting games in lieu of a central midfielder being played out of position.

I don't have a problem with Bilyaletdinov to be honest, he's a talented player, but he's still behind Osman, who plays like a little boy outwide. People will compare him to Fellaini, but Fellaini was a regular from day one, Bilyaletdinov has barely completed three games on the run, completely different situations really.

You never here Moyes talking about him, praising him in the media or backing him to shine at the start of the season. There are games where he's not even given the chance to impact a game, let alone start and complete 90 minutes.

You clearly missed his EPIC and I really do mean EPIC fail when in charge of Spurs.

This a different Martin Jol to the one that had Spurs in the relegation places? That got sacked for being a failure in the premier league. Even though he had 40 or 50 odd million to spend every season.

Most premier league clubs could recruit Martin Jol, its telling that they haven't. He seems to have had transfer money wherever he has gone. He has no pedigree for the job description that Everton manager entails. And failed to get the already fine players at Tottenham's disposal to work for him. He's a decent manager but a poor match for everton.

Um he took a struggling Spurs side and took them to 2 5th place finishes narrowly missing out on Champs League qualification. He took Hamburg back into Europe and reached the UEFA cup semi finals. He then took Ajax to second place scoring 3 a game and conceding just 4 goals at home all season. And won the Dutch cup.

Sure he had a bad spell at Spurs where they were languishing in the relegation places. Now what other manager has had more than 1 spell of doing that at a team who we all know?

Again i'm not saying he will be better than Moyes here, but to write him off for having a crappy start to the season at Spurs once when Moyes does that here regularly is just daft.

And he was close to going to fulham so i'm sure we could get him if we wanted.

I don't know what he has spent and how readily that money was made available to him but if you have it you spend it. Doesn't mean you can't find a bargain if you need to. And Moyes hardly has a great track record after splashing the cash does he, his successes were mainly bargains.

He spent 50 million that off season. The board and fans were expecting a push for champions league football. They won one game in the first ten. Like it or not but expectations change with money spent.

jol (45.27 %)actually had a bigger win % at spurs than moyes (42.01 %) has at everton.

martin jol , alex mcleish or claudio ranieri are 3 names i would consider if moyes ever left.

Have to say he has been absoloutly brutal so far hope he improves soon.

was talking about heit.

" It has been reported that some of these players were signed on the request of director of football Damien Comolli and that Jol was not allowed to select players he wanted to buy."

So you judge a manager purely on one poor half of a season after he may or may not of spent some money? As plenty of teams have proven over the years, spending a lot of money doesn't guarantee success regardless of who the manager is. A poor start to the season after a succesful end to the previous one, sound familiar?

Like i said, Moyes has had failings when spending money so why is no one else allowed? Its not like Jol made a habit of buying crap and failing everywhere he went.

Oh FFS. That's convenient. He didn't want 50m worth of players then. Didn't want Gareth Bale or Darren Bent forced upon him. But yeah, nice unsubstantiated quote.

We've not had a poor beginning to the season yet, we've had a poor 5 games of the season. We win the next five we'll be in top six easy.

But yeah, lets sack Moyes now.

If jol doesn't win the next five games we can sack him as well.
Lets run the club like an emotional, vindictive three year old having a tantrum.

That way we can really attract top class managers to the already magnetic prospect of managing Everton - a club with no money for a manager to fund the inevitable rebuilding job that a new manager takes on (and there would be a rebuild necessary as Moyes leaving would inevitably bring about other personnel departures - which I'm sure you've taken into account), a crumbling stadium, and a fan base that thinks managers of the stature of David Moyes are a load of crap and should be sacked.

Christ, I love your loyalty.

we'd also have to pay the balance of his contract.

about 15-16 million.

we could buy that feckin striker we need if we had that knocking about in a drawer somewhere - a drawer marked "to be used in the event of someone sacking Moyes for no decent reason."
