I have heard all about the famous " Strangle robberies " . Or being marched at gunpoint to the ATM . I have read up on Argentina for almost three years now aswell as a great deal on Chile . Yes Argentina has its problems in some cases they are very serious such as football hooliganism and vicious street robbery .

I have a friend who went to a River Plate game . He bought his ticket from the hostel where he was staying and foolishly went on his own . He was robbed of his money outside and didnt fare much better inside . Apparently nobody takes much notice of seat numbers in Argentina . He hadnt been sat down ten minutes when someone promptly got hold of him and threw him down three rows of seats busting his lip wide open . He was saved by some girl who took pity on him and escorted him to the police who then threw him out

Sorry I shouldnt laugh but he laughs about it now anyway . He said the atmosphere has to be seen to be believed . Also said if your going to go ask before you go which is the safest area to sit down in .

I dont hate Australians . I lived there for three years and loved every minute . My ex girlfriend at the time couldnt settle , missed her mother and we ended up coming back . I still regret it now . But life rarely pans out how you think it will and one must make the very best of what one has to hand .

I remember wtahcing a derby game in a pub in Balmain forget the name exactly with my mate scouse dave who now lives in NZ . He was a red and when Everton scored I went fcuking mad and started jumping all over him like he did when they scored . The bar owner thought we were mad and tried to kick us out . I had them daft thongs on and took mine off to throw at him  Funny days .

I love Crowded House . Sheer class mate(y)

I did the same thing in the 90's. well similar, I married an australian born girl in the UK and we emigrated to Melbourne. After a couple of years I was missing my family and wasnt earning as much as I can here, I didnt stay long enough for a passport but had the permanent resident visa.

Anyway, we came home, she hated me for coming home, she divorced me and went back. Thats was in 2001 and shes now living somewhere in sunny Oz while I work in Wrexham :(

If Goodison was like that, it would be full every week with queues outside too. (y)

I have a good friend in Argentina called Carlos. I asked for some info on Banega so will see what he comes up with.

Fletch, you swopped Oz for Wrexham, unbelievable.

I often wonder about folk who say they will miss family and freinds. What, just get a computer, put a webcam on it and bingo talk and see plus cheaper than phoning. Or get family out for a holiday.

Thats not quite the same. My gf is from Lithuania and she gets depressed because she misses her family so much, even though she talks to them every day or two via t'internet.

I'm lucky, i don't miss anyone, so wouldn't bother me!!

The papers reckon heitinga earns over 50 Grand a week! Can we handle that? Thought we had a wage structure in place? I think we should pay him what he wants, He's a great player.

I dont think we should pay that . Other players would soon want as much

We are going to have to address our wage structure soon anyway, as once this 50% tax comes in, they'll suddenly become very aware of the wages they are earning, and the wages they could earn if they went abroad.
So much for being in the E.U.
