Lived in Hawaii for a few months, fantastic locals, moved very slowly, wore the minimum of clothing, and drank loads.

Aside from the fact that UK infrastructure isn't really prepared for sustained heat like this - stay indoors, keep hydrated, try not to go out in the sun.

Add to that, homes in the UK are designed to be thermally efficient - keeping heat in. This isn’t the case in hotter climates.
