The He Could Do A Job For Us Thread

Yossi Benayoun is saying that he is in talks with 2 PL clubs about joining them on loan. Think he could do a good job for us! Gives us central midfield cover, wouldnt cost too much in loan fee and wages and he is a good player! Very clever footballer.

Lucas Biglia does look good for Anderlecht - reminds me a bit of Arteta the way he goes about his job, collecting the ball and dictating the tempo. Was somewhat bizarrely linked with Norwich in the summer but I'd love him here

rumoured robert snodgrass has not settled in anglia and wants a move.
not a great player but 'could do a job for us'.

Would Villa let Bent go on loan in January? Lambert seemingly doesn't rate him. It wasn't so long ago that he was England's number 1 striker and he's still only 28. We've got next to no cover for Jelavic. Maybe they could even play together? If he could give us a push for the Champions' League he might even earn us his transfer fee.

Danny Wellbeck seems to be 4th choice at United atm. Not sure if he'll be happy with that.

May as well continue our recent tradition of taking all their cast offs, he could definitely do a job for us.

Stefan Defour, if we can't get Ofoe I'd definately go in for him. Good quality holding midfielder and be perfect to sit next to Gibson, he's young and the main thing is that he's BELGIAN!

Lewis Holtby

Theo Walcott

Landon Donovan

Tom Ince

Joleon Lescott

Holtby maybe, but he's getting regular football, europe and he seems settled in Germany.
Walcott will stay at Arsenal, I reckon. We couldn't afford him or offer him a central strikers role anyway.
It seems like Donovan is struggling for motivation. By the way he was talking he might want to go and play somewhere like China for a total culture change.
Don't know too much about Ince but maybe he's hoping that Liverpool want him back? He'd get nowhere near our first team because of Mirallas and Pienaar whereas he's playing every week for Blackpool.
I'd take Lescott back but he's about 30 now and I don't think he'd want to give up playing for City unless he had no chance of playing.
