We have to Stick together in this tough time I was pleased on a personal note to make my first premier league start, stay positive blues EFC

he has tweeted twice in the last ten or so days ^ so what do you mean??

It's not blind loyalty it's based on very good and weighty evidence. The burden of proof is with you.

You really have no clue who you want if this manager was replaced. Who is it by the way. Some euro material giant no doubt.
Its not my choice and i don't think kenwright will sack him.
But going back to my point if you think the manager and players are at loggerheads how do you know that its the players in the wrong?

There's nothing at all.

He favourited a tweet from collymore saying that english players should get more of a chance at english clubs and that's it.

Dave is just trying to pretend that the hull performance was thanks to a bunch of players who weren't on the pitch, garbutt, howard, distin, osman and pienaar rather than, you know, the players who were like alcaraz, barry, naismith, kone, besic, lukaku, etc.
^ this

Today's defeat was down to yet another crap selection, poor tactics and some lifeless performances from those wearing the Royal Blue.

What should have happened after that game was that he sent cups flying and tore their faces off in a locked dressing room for an hour. He should have been that livid that Ferguson had to do the post match presser, but no, not a sign of it.

You want Martinez gone: reasonable question to ask who you want in his place, surely?

Why would he send the errand boy out to represent the club?

That's not what many other people are seeing mate. They're playing like a bunch of dossers and standing aside to let the opposition score. And have a read of the Howard comment about Martinez I quoted here yesterday and tell me he has given the manager a chance. Then read what that little snide Garbutt has been tweeting in the last three or four days.

You come to one conclusion: players throwing a manager under the bus. That's what we have here. No senior players have come out public and said anything, because they're a shower of snide cowards who'll just brief the hacks behind the scenes.

Absolutely shameful.

Can you paraphrase what they're reported to have said? I think that they're open to interpretation. If Collymore said 'give kids a chance' and Garbutt liked it I don't think it automatically follows that he's disgruntled at his lack of playing time. He probably wasn't expecting to make his full debut in the league this season with Baines and Oviedo ahead of him, so he's ahead of schedule if anything, and I think he was championing the cause of younger players generally in a league dominated by foreign imports. I've just checked his twitter feed and all I could see was him saying that crisis talk is premature and we need to stick together.

Currently Howard is out, Jags can't be fit, Stones is out, McCarthy is out, Barry's legs seem to have gone, Mirallas still isn't back up to speed, Barkley is still a fledgling and he's been played out of position quite a lot, Pienaar will probably never come back to his best and Lukaku is struggling with a woeful lack of service. So, from last season, we only really have the fullbacks who are firing on all cylinders and I think that they're feeling inhibited about getting forward because of our defensive issues.

Why are you not answering my question?
I have not thought too much about it because i can't see it happening.
But off the top of my head someone like rijkard or even try for koeman.

There's the potential for little snide over paid, trophy less, media 'un-savvy' cowards to upset the apple cart at any premier league club. However it seems just to be happening here (and at Hull recently to be fair, who beat us comfortably today).

The players and team performances are a function of the competence of the management team - it is irrelevant that that some players are discontent; the manager should ship out or adapt the style.

This is what defines great leaders in organisations that rely on people - decisive, flexible, compassionate, open minded, receptive to change, great communicator - RM may tick all of those but our perception is that he only meets a few.

They've been mentioned in this forum before mate. I honestly don't see my role as being you archivist and presenting the posts to you. Here's a thought: find them yourself.

Now, how about a name of a manager you want in?

Your so full of **** :) you said Garbutt has been tweeting snidey stuff in the last three days - I've gone back at least two weeks and there is nothing.
