These players are looking forward a month ahead when they hope to have their mates in charge and still be in with a shout of winning something. So it'll be a win in the cup and then back to surrendering points in the PL until they get rid of the manager.

It's hardly pulling the trigger on yourself looking to lose the next two when we have the type of quality in the squad to nail another 10 victories together from the following 16 matches. Piece of piss when they feel like doing it.

It's not as straightforward as that. Confidence is shot, morale and belief has gone out the window. Yes I'm looking at the teams below us and I see something in them that we don't have; spirit. We played a team today in 19th, we made them look like world beaters. The performances are not purposely done. We are genuinely beaten here. We have 21 points and need to double that to be safe.

Look at the league fixtures coming up Dave. It's gonna get worse before it looks any better.
