Will be buying this when it's published.
Just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Thought it was great, haven't enjoyed fiction this much for ages.

I've previously read The Martian and Artemis. Both really good books, Weir's books are very engaging.Just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Thought it was great, haven't enjoyed fiction this much for ages.
Yeah I’ve read both of those. Artemis got mixed reviews but I loved it, I’m totally obsessed with the Apollo programme so was right up my alley.I've previously read The Martian and Artemis. Both really good books, Weir's books are very engaging.
In post production now apparently with Ryan Gosling as the lead. It`ll make a great film, when it`s eventually done.
Yes, nice novel. Enjoyed reading it when it was first released a few years back I think? Believe they are making the movie soon?Just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Thought it was great, haven't enjoyed fiction this much for ages.
* I should have read the next few posts!Yes, nice novel. Enjoyed reading it when it was first released a few years back I think? Believe they are making the movie soon?
Halfway through this. It promises to be one of my top five all-time books. I'm only reading it because I've read the Steve Cavanagh Eddie Flynn novels I bought over with me and it was just there.
I'm already in love with Kya but can see a sad ending. In some ways it reminds me of Buster and Billie, if anyone saw the film?
I was up at 5am (US Eastern Time) because I didn't want to sleep throught the Chelsea match, that kicks off at 7.30am here. What better way to fill the time until then than reading more of this..

Finished it in three days. The last ten pages or so were so happy/sad/tragic and heartbreaking that it took me the whole of the next day to get over the emotion of it. I have often cried over films but never over a book until now. And how.
I don't know if I want to put myself through that again but I obviously will now you've recommended it.Have you seen the film ?
It lacks the emotional punch of the book, but it`s still worth watching.
Another book with a similar impact at the end, is Cormac McCarthy`s - The Road.
I had to leave the house and go for a walk to get my head together the first time I read it, as I was that cut up by it.
If you haven`t read it, I really can`t recommend it highly enough.
