Always seems to be a thread similar to this, so thought I would carry on the tradition. Here is a best 11 of the players out of contract in the summer. Couple there I would love to see, Metzelder, Petrov, Johnson and Chamakh. Would obviously love Joe Cole and Van Nistelrooy but they are a bit unrealistic.

I`m sure we could get johnson cheap now rather than him walkinh from boro for nothing in the summer

The same with Benjani, he has only played one game in ages, send Jo back and sign Benjani permanently, they would probably let us have him on a free just to get rid of him

The only realistic targets i can see are:

Adam Johnson: The best player in the championship this season and with borough in the bottom half he'll relish a chance to be in the PL. Must get him!

Joe Ledly : A decent player...could do a job at everton like Dempsey does for Fulham.


Metzelder : I'd be surprised as i rate him highly in my books and we would have to fight with many clubs and will eventually lose out sadly but he'd be a great addition

Has rediscovered his scoring touch with 10 goals in 17 appearances for the Toffees this season. Deadly when fit.
Wanted by: Sunderland, Roma, Atletico Madrid and Bordeaux
