I'm late to the party on this, but wow!

I'm convinced a lot of the characters who spout this sort if stuff do so because their entire persona relies on being 'alternative' or 'really knowing what goes on'. So the absolutely patch onto any old chod.

I've got a mate who steadfastly believes in the illuminati and chemtrails. Admittedly he's taken a lot of acid, but that's also part of the schtick.

Well the original thread is about 4 years old I think.

There will always be WUMs and conspiracists, but kids these days don’t seem to know, nor care, what shape the Earth is.

Chemtrail people are the worst, but maybe now they’re all Flat Earthers.

Still reckon the overwhelming majority of Flat Earthers are just bad WUM's
The rest must have something wrong with them mentally.
