God the American coverage of this is so bad. In a two minute span just now, Alexi Lalas managed to compare Messi to Barry Sanders and Emmett Smith and then went on to describe Mbappe’s long run along the touch line against Morocco as “AYSO-like”. Ugh.

Just the fact he lumped Emmett Smith in with Barry Sanders...get tae fook. ?
