The Farhad Moshiri interview

50 million net spend.

Barkley and Niasse were effectively as good as sold. Everton expected them to be punted on. The net spend is currently around that yes, but won't be for long.

Still missing the point I see.

Moshiri has been found out to be nothing but words and ego. Nothing more. Is yet to back his own mouth. Bottom line.

yEH BUT WE ALSO HAD BIDS FOR AT LEAST 2 PLAYERS -70MIL ISH TURNED DOWN ON DEADLINE DAY

Yeah of course we did.

Even if that we true, its the Lukaku formula all over again. We bought early on in the window because Farad Kenwright knew we'd receive X amount for the snake weeks later. Farad knows, Kenwright knows, you and I know, the fans know, the stewards know, the pasty woman knows....... We are selling McCarthy, Niasse, Mirallas and Barkley sooner rather than later. Maybe its just a coincidence that with those 4 players mentioned, its there of there abouts to the 70 million you're chatting about. Yep Coincidence.

Its time to stop tonguing his ball sack.

The impression I got from that was that:

1) Nobody wanted Barkley to stay and the club was counting on the incoming fee.
2) There is no love lost between Barkley and Everton. This development is simply Barkley taking advantage of the club for another 6 months in order to give himself a better bargaining position in January.
3) Regarding CF and CH, there was simply no value for money available today, especially without the fee for Ross.
4) Moshiri is putting the pressure back on to Koeman by saying it is now "his team".

Weak all around from all involved.
Don't care about No1&2

No.3; That is probably a core point of the new regime, yes we've cash but we ain't 'kin City or Chelsea.

No.4; Pretty much spot on. You're the coach, you knew the guidelines, you told me what you will/could do, you picked them, now coach them.
