Their negative attitude, and telling everyone how to look, what to wear, what we cant wear, how to act, set us back years. We came quite contrived in our behaviour so as not to be deemed a Ted, a wool or a kopite.

I think we shouldn't mix up real fans who go to games and follow and support the team through thick and thin, with lemons whose hobby is trying to sound authorative on a website. Talksport style media now has to make everything into a crisis to get viewers and clicks, I think most fans realise this, and only the internet drama queens really respond to it. We were the best attacking team in England last week, and now we're the worst team with the worst manager. 90% of actual fans know to keep things in perspective either way.

There`s a fair few agendas in play too, all being led by you know who, as he sucks in the gullible and posters who have problems with the cocaine.

You get the odd away where we sound quite loud but overall we are some of the quietest fans in the country. Doesn't help the away tickets are a closed shop. People who've been going years that are well into their 50s aren't going to bring as much atmosphere as the new generation of supporters.

Last night was the first away I’ve been to where it felt noticeably quiet. Always seems to be an eclectic mix of blues, from the grumbling oldies to the lads smoking a spliff in the bogs at half time.
