The facts dont support the notion we've slipped away from the top 6

Since New Years Day fixtures:

Arsenal 48 pts
Chelsea 42 pts
United 42 pts
City 36 pts
Spurs 34 pts
Liverpool 34 pts
Everton 30 pts
Southampton 28 pts

...that is us right in amongst it and a very bridgeable gap back to where we were.

I don't think we'll be far away from the top six come the end of the season, but, all things being equal, the end of the season is the time to judge how we're doing.

Give over - end of season is for crying about player contract extensions before other clubs turn there heads and obviously about who we should sign and the countless hundreds of millions that should be spent in doing so.
Pfft everyone knows that.

Same old same old, plotters cant handle facts so resort to insults
Come on, it was a joke I don't do insults to often, I do take issue with being call a kneejerker or plotter after a full season of dross yet it's ok after one game for threads such as this to be made. Had we lost these stats wouldn't be up for debate.

There are no plotters mate, just fans with a different opinion of going forward. At the end of the day we are all absolute rabid Everton fans, so can we now consign that "P" to the grave?
I had hoped the summer would see a cooling of the fractions and the war die down sadly a few shots been fired lately, could develope into the open warfare of last year.
