Danny cadamateri also showed promise with inconsistencies

But that final paragraph has creased me

I thought it might...half joking...

Did you see Kane for England youth? can probably find everyone slating him in a thread on here somewhere...he was awful.

Shearer also had a season of games like dcl and scored 4 goals I believe...then came to life for England u21s

that's a very negative perspective...if a player is roundly applauded and given motm then fair play to him,

I personally think its harder for a debutant stepping up from the u23s when the team is playing badly
Yeah, fair play to him, but he literally had to be on the pitch and string 2 passes together and not get a red card. We were THAT bad.

He impressed for the stage he's at, but he's not this massive amazing prospect you seem to think he is. I'll gladly eat humble pie but he's not shown anything of that so far.

I forget myself just how young tom davies is, at the moment he thrives in a 3 where he can use his energy most effectively, he's a good enough footballer to develop into other roles as well, and has time on his hands

He's only just turned 19 and has a handful of games with 2 motm appearances...doesn't get much better than that.

Incidently, ive not raved about any of these u21 lads weve got...I'm simply saying we need to get them as much experience as feasible before next season.

more like the Growing Influence of the Terrific Ten.

Holgate, Kenny, Pickford, DCL, Davies, Baningame, Vlasic, Lookman and Dowell back in the Summer, plus Onyekuru.

The potential in that young bunch is something else. Not the genuine article just yet but there's so much promise there. @Zatara must be busting veins. Average age of the squad must be tumbling.
I love that group of 10
If it stays together than it makes you forget the excitement of Stones-Barkley - Lukaku

However, add players in their mid 20s - Ross, Keane and Pickford for instance, it gets even better! Plus senior pros Coleman and maybe Bolasie - great squad in the next 3 years
