Well deserved Palace, they executed their plan perfectly. And those fans were something else.

Got to respect Palace for sticking with the manager earlier in the season. They defended brilliantly and looked sharp on the attack. Mateta ran himself into the ground. I guess Chelsea will now try and buy half the squad on 50 year contracts to sit them on the bench.

Anyway great to see new teams with the Cup - maybe other clubs will realise that winning something means far more than whether you finish 9th or 10th in the league.

You would think it might occur to the “genius” that is Pep Guardiola that trying something different, nay revolutionary, when Plan A is failing so spectacularly is a good idea.

Like switching his wingers so that a right footer is on the right and a left winger is on the left…and start putting crosses in to strikers of the calibre of Haaland and Manoosh.

That Doku was totally wasted out on the left and so easy for Palace to handle as he constantly cut back on to his right foot.

Totally pathetic.
