The Everton Board Thread

The new lot (whomever they are): dont give them an ounce of credibility. They have to earn that.

Just because - apparently - one's a blue who earned a few quid means absolutely f.a. to me.

They start off needing to prove themselves. No more fawning over so and so "getting us" and they've "got this". They run this club professionally or they should suffer the same fate as the scumbags about to depart with their tails between their legs.

Spot on

No celebrating from me when the arrogant lavatory bowl head departs simply because I don’t want us to be let down once again.

Stop feeding the troll. We know what he is. Let him crack on until he gets another ban for changing his views like the wind in an attempt to wind people up.

3/4s of the board is gone. I imagine Bill is staying on until we have the confirmation the takeover/investment is complete and we can actually appoint others to the board. He was probably the only one narcissistic enough to do so, I imagine the others have been desperately looking for a way out.

Still be quite surprised if Andy Bell is named CEO.

That role should go to someone with a track record in football business.

There is plenty of scope for someone like Bell on the board, just not as CEO.

There should be room for 6-7 directors including Chairman and CEO, covering different functional specialties.

Have no issue with blues on the board, none at all, but for good governance and balance, there should be others from outside that pool. We've had decades of parochialism and it should be avoided from here on.

Whilst I’m delighted that we have change, I do worry about the impact on what is probably the most important transfer window in years. I just hope we have a budget and plan in place to sign players should they be available, but I doubt it!
