Maybe yeah but there was only so much we could spend anyway. Its not about having no money, we've had the money, but Farhads revolving door of managers, directors of football and general poor ownership means its been wasted
The club has continued to decline under Kenwrights stewardship, this is a simple fact.
We have not challenged for a single a title under his stewardship, let alone won one.
We have not lifted the F.A. Cup once under his stewardship.
We have won nothing at all under his stewardship.
Literally the only event of note that has occurred under his stewardship is a single , losing F.A cup final.
Under any chairman that preceded him that would have been judged a failed period in office when set against the previous standards and expectations of Everton Football Club.
This was not what he promised when he made his two pitches for our club.
If he didn’t have the finances to maintain or restore Everton to their former and still fairly recent position among the countries elite clubs he should have sold up far sooner or better still not bid for something he couldn’t afford.
He has failed as both the owner of Everton and as the chairman.

He did not fail as owner, that's just a ridiculous thing to say, if he failed what's Moshiri doing?

Interesting you say two pitches, do you mean by the first the time Peter Johnson bought the club, he wanted it then, unfortunately some, including Grantchester backed PJ over him, had he gained control of the club then he wouldn’t of needed to spend the early years of his ownership stabilising the club after Hamperman started to let it rot.
However he did, and gave Farhad a well run, stable Premier League club, the club we have today is a shadow of the club Farhad picked up.

For you to say
better still not bid for something he couldn’t afford.
That's an idiotic thing to say, ask anyone who was around at the time, we were desperate to get shut of Johnson, and nobody was remotely interested in buying us, in saving us, in giving us a future..... apart from Bill.

You're off your head.

He didn't hand Farhad a "well run, stable Premier League club", he sold him a club losing money year after year with no investment for decades.

The club we have today is the same club we had before but with the problems accelerated thanks to Moshiri's spending. It's the same problems partly because it's the same chairman who has no idea how to progress this club beyond handing out jobs for the boys and controlling his pals in the media.

You want to blame Farhad entirely and pretend Bill and Denise are nothing more than highly paid rubber stampers. They're all to blame for this mess.

Remind us of let's say the last 5 years of Bill's ownership, we're did we come in the league? Who was the most valuable player in the squad? Who was our striker?

Correct, Moshiri and his spending and interfering

he progressed the club fine after PJ, only for Farhad to make us worse now then we were then

Farhad is to blame, what you can blame Bill and Denise for is not being able to fix his mess

You've an incredibly favourable view of the Kenwright years.

We sold players and took out loans annually to pay off the operating debts because he failed to grow the club and take advantage of opportunities to do so.

Moshiri hasn't made things better but there's no valid reason to keep Kenwright as chairman and even less to hand the CEO position to the person running the charity arm of the club.

They've helped nothing and they need to go as well.

There's no such thing as bad publicity

The publicity around headlock and now Merseyside police confirming they are completely unawares of threats to the Everton board that keeps them away from home games. Has now served every Everton against current board very well indeed as its now nationally added depth meaning the loathing and disconnect this board has with its fans, the people's club no more.

You just come out with non factual comments all the time which have no foundation or substance. You're blind sided favour of Kenwright is why any moderately intelligent person on here wont take you seriously.

Utterly disgraceful if the likes of Rooney or Ferguson even get talked to about the job.

A new manager should have been identified and installed with a day of Lampard leaving - genuinely no excuses at all to not have had a new manager lined up and contract signed.

But this is Everton.

Let's dally about for another week and then get our 8th choice on the list.

I'm amazed you got all that from him saying the players are crap and the club is the worst run in the country

He has failed as both the owner of Everton and as the chairman.
He is also the architect of massive log term damage to the club which will not easily or quickly be fixed

He hired a relegated manager just because he won an fa cup which started this cycle of manager sackings. Yes Martinez finished 5th but that was based off moyes defence as Martinez doesn’t know how to defend. It was obvious to everyone else how crap he was at it just by watching a few Wigan games.
