The Everton Board Thread

The club has way bigger problems than Frank Lampard mert.
Hence ‘not the biggest problem’ but he should have more points on the board and more wins than he has - we all know the ownership and board are the main culprits but for his own record FL has been treated softly

Lampard has GOT to go I've no hesitation saying that.

But he was badly let down by the club not getting some firepower when Richy left , for all the good work the midfield & defence done at the start of the season it eventually catches up with you if you don't score goals.

Early in the season there were close defeats & draws that with a goalscorer or 2 we could have had a good few more points.
Now the whole lot is bust.

Respect to Alan Stubbs, Bally, Kev Campbell , said what they felt was right in recent weeks. The silence from others or the hollow words from a couple said everything in what is easily one of the worst periods for the club.

Give them an audience, an evening with event and Buy them enough drinks, they’ll talk all night about what a big EvertonIan they are but being straight and honest in a terrible time? Nah.

This is absolutely spot on.

Silence by the vast majority of them has been disgraceful.

Amongst this torrent of despair there is something more important to worry about. Where's contract Dave and is his job safe? Those beautiful warm smirks are what we need in this winter of discontent.

Not slow, I’m just not discounting him as a problem - I’m not that short sighted - the power of that tweet was in what was unsaid but the inference was that current issues are nothing to do with Lampard and to a lesser degree they are - he still has to develop a style of play that gets more points on the board than he has

Spot on mate. Not even a terrible time, the worst time. Last time we were in div 2 money wasn’t an issue. We are facing the real possibility of the end of Everton FC as we know it. I don’t think the dire financial state of the club can be understated. If we go down we are finished for a very, very long time.
