So they’re finally going to act, 2 months later than they realistically could have again, and lead the merry dance of interviews before appointing the wrong choice
Wouldn't bank on it. They will understand the financial consequences of paying him off and no doubt his staff. They won't want to do it and then to have to make another commitment to someone else. Also, the transfer window is closing so any new person would want reinforcements. That means more expenditure and all the signs are that we are looking to cut costs rather than add to them. Of course, costs will be signifcantly be cut come next season as I don't see a new coach resurrecting this one in terms of survival.

Sigh. While I'm more sympathetic to Sharp than many others, these type of comments aren't going to help, and especially not after another dire performance.

Sometimes, it's sensible to keep your mouth shut rather than talk, knowing it'll incite the audience even more. The game is more important than their situation.
He's dead to me now, he's a corporate shill, no more, no less. He can do one. Big Nev's essentially barred from the club whilst lickspittles like Sharp have the run of the place. This is why we are where we are, dissenting voices are not tolerated.
