Probably should have gone but let’s be honest would Bill leaving really have made any difference to next season? He’s literally a figurehead who is scapegoated when Thelwell, Dyche etc. are actually responsible for the product on the pitch.

He's the main factor that we are run like a 1950's corner newsagent. You can bet he is the one that says no we are not buying anyone until the last day of the window as that saves on wages - and then proceeds to buy our 6th choice for 20 million more than our 1st choice who moved to another club earlier in the window.

Where have I seen this John Spellman fella before 🤔🤔🤔

It’s a bit more than that, isn’t it? They are getting new shares in return, which will definitely dilute Moshiri’s degree of control, and possibly give MSP control / majority ownership?
As I understand it they are being issued with preferential shares which will earn a dividend .
They have the option at a future date to convert to ordinary voting shares which will then dilute the Moshiri ownership.

Chong getting that position is completely baffling. What’s he done in his career to get that role. Less qualified than Baxendale was. Utter train wreck of a club.
To be fair to him, he has overseen the development of the new ground which seems to have gone well.

Can he effectively run the club as well.... I haven't a clue.
