I'd be more inclined to believe Everton's hard luck transfer stories if they didn't lie about everything all the time.

They're unlikely to be making completely fake bids, but I'm convinced they purposely waste time by opening negotiations for players when they know a deal isn't possible. I think it's a bit suspicious how they never seem to go back for any of the players they were apparently close to bringing in pre-deadline.

It won't last forever though. The only concern will be the state of the club when they finally sell up. It will get better before it gets worse I reckon.
