People don't get it.

There is absolutely no reason for BK to sell.

His "real" business in theatre land is doing great - doubtless benefiting from his "Premiership Chairman" profile.

The majority of fans aren't businessmen and take at face value the official line - "best interests of the club at heart, doesn't take a wage" - the idea his company benefits by association wouldn't cross their minds.

I salute him I really do, as a small businessman myself I recognise he's worked the oracle for himself, until we're near relegation he can do exactly what he wants without pressure or significant criticism.

Unless a complete fool or a crook like Shinawatra turns up offering him a shed load of bent money there is NO INCENTIVE AT ALL.

Most match goers have never heard of "Kings Dock" and all the rest of it.

If you asked "would you like AGMs re-started to find out where 20 odd million quid of the clubs cash goes each year?"

They'd say: "dunno ....... (then, turning to mate), chinese or a curry?"

It pains me. but in some ways your right.

Speechless or Shudders - both

Anyone else bothered by the extremely wealthy foreigners purchasing the EPL teams? Does it worry the fan base to have someone come in with no attachment to the team and all of a sudden send the ship in a new direction?

...i know all of our MLS teams in the U.S. are owned by Americans/Canadians (with 1 exception in Chivas USA) and it seems to keep it a little more organic with a substantial vested interest in the fans, but what do i know.

We have a wealthy foreigner who part owns us: Robert Earl. We've remained as parochial as you can get and very unsuccessul. So, no, it soesn't concern me that we could be owned by more foreigners.

I'd welcome them like the second coming mate. It's only a matter of time before the club goes under as things stand. And before we go into the "he's one of us" stuff he's PROVED beyond all doubt he isn't with his £150m asking price qouted by Keith Harris on sky sports.

Notts Forest have just been officially bought by the mega rich Al-Hasawi family from Kuwait.

A Kuwaiti journo thinks he'll plough a lot of money into them: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18689221

The previous Forest chairman died in October 2011. His family decided to sell the club. They enlisted the help of financial institution, Seymour Pierce in order to search for a buyer for the club. Less than a year later, not only has a very rich buyer been found, they have completed their purchase of the club.

Amazing what can happen when there's a will to sell a football club, and the correct people are being used to search for bonafide mega rich buyers.

Seymour Pierce you say? The one Keith Harris works for? The one who's helping Bill 25/8?
