This all boils down to the media influencing people more than their own fans. If the media outlets were saying what Sharpy quite elegantly put, Bill would be gone.

That's the reason everyone clapped Bill on the Big Screen.

as you've said mate, not here to argue, but yes the majority of us know all this and are as equally disgusted by it. However backing the BU is not the best way to change what needs changing. They are, at best, amateurish in their approach to the whole issue. They have gone for the playground battle tactic of shouting louder and being abusive. The vitriol that has been directed at kenwright is disgraceful. Accusations of creaming money out of the club without evidence, hate mail and sh1t parcels through the post, death threats etc etc. Then there is the whole circus about the meeting they (BU & BK) had. How can they expect others disgruntled fans to back them after the way they've carried on? I want the BOARD out of the club. ALL of them, not just Bill, each and every single one of them. This will not be achieved by childish stunts like posting videos on youtube that ultimately just further embarrass the once proud name of Everton FC. The BU, initially was a great idea, sadly they are not the way to achieve what we all want which is a strong competetive forward thinking Everton. Their name has become tainted by their foolhardy tactics and behaviour. It's time to go back to the drawing board and rethink this one.

Mate i agree more than ever now. There not the answer, but there the only thing thats there at the moment. As for the whole board, spot on..we need a clean sweep mate all need to go. That includes Moyes for me, he's sat on his wage an let this happen in front of him...

Your bang on the money Sharpy but cant see it happening

Remember people clapping the **** against Villa when he came on the big screen

Its not his job to sort out the board room.

I looked at the fella next to me and we just said WTF are they clapping for

Just shows how many fans buy into Blue Bills bull****

Matt he culpable with the rest. he been **** on, yes i agree. but he's sat back and allowed it. He still backs that cancer mate.

How can he sit back and allow something he has no control over?

He's an employee. Not the employer.

People have unrealistic expectations of what the role of a manager is. The manager is to manage the team. Not the club as a whole.

By all means if you don't like the board. Say what you feel. But all this "i include Moyes" lark is ridiculous.

I've felt for a while now that new owners will only arrive with the club in administration. I don't see another way realistically happening.

There is money to be made for/by Everton Football Club, but the current board cannot achieve this, but don't want to sell on the cheap because the club could be a cash cow. From a buyers point of view, would you want to own a club in a lot of debt, with little but the on field assets after playing whatever amount. It seems the club needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, it would take a lot of time and money and patience is rare these days.

Agree with Matt in this respect, I wouldn't be telling my boss what a prick of a job he was doing when I have mouths to feed/bills to pay etc. I know it's a different level of money etc and he probably could afford to chuck it in if he was really unhappy with everything, but it's his career too. Speaking out about his boss probably won't endear him to future chairmen at other clubs either.

Im not a member of the BU in any way. Infact some of the stuff lately has pushed me further away from them TBH. But theres no one else out there. So please dont think im all for the BU.

BUT DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT....

KENWRIGHT HAS.....

Lied about the Kings Dock
lied about the FSF
lied about NTL
forced Gregg out with bullsiht
Spent millions and Failed with destination Kirkby when told by many it wouldnt work
Told us the Arteta money would be used in Jan.

watch this space
Mortgaged season ticket for the next 5 years
mortgaged TV money for the next 3 years
operating costs of million he has no clue about.

Sold the souvenier shop an land
sold the training ground
sold Bellfield
sold the car park behind the park end
Sold all our best players and replaced them by no one.

lent money off a board member for a year with a massive % back to him.

Just bull**** after bull****!!

Theres so much more feel free to continue.

im not after an argument but anyone who wants to defend him, please let me know how. I really want to understand your side.

Read this all again, i cant believe we've allowed him to get away with this.

He's asset striped us, and he's got away with it.

.........

Not only that. But if you become known as "the disruptive influence" people don't want to work with or for you. That includes players.

People want to work for people who they think are steady and give out an aura of calm and confidence to get an objective. Why do you think Benitez is still unemployed?

Its the easy route for him to at the board, but he must do it with subtlety because of his role at the club.

Has Ferguson at United kicked off publicly because their owners put them a billion in debt? No not publicly. But you can bet he did so privately. Particularly on signings.

Also his resigning of Scholes I find very very very indicative as a bit of a message from him. Using subtlety.

But sure. The EFC board have many things to answer considering £20million in fees was taken in and in 6 months the club has saved ca. £8 million in wages.

I think Ferguson did kick off a little bit when the Americans took over if I remember correctly, but a massive difference between the two managers, Fergy is a different class to every living manager and I think the only one who could get away with it to be fair.

I just wish there was some fresh life in our club, it's getting harder every week to be motivated about us, blue for the rest of my life no doubt but it's frustrating. Must be 1000 x harder for you local lads :(

Everton mortgage future broadcast income to alleviate cashflow problem

• Premier League income for two seasons 'sold'
• Impossible to determine who is behind Vibrac Corporation

This article is the subject of a legal complaint made on behalf of Everton Football Club Ltd.

Everton's successful start to the season might make you wonder what all the fuss was about. After demonstrations at Goodison Park at the direction the club have been heading in under the chairman, Bill Kenwright, the Toffees have picked up more points per game than anyone outside the Premier League top four.

However, off the pitch matters are indeed far less rosy: Digger can reveal that Everton have forward-sold their central Premier League broadcast income not only for this season but for the 2012-13 campaign as well.

As Kenwright has privately admitted, Everton's prior lenders, Barclays Bank and Investec, are not prepared to extend their credit lines to his club. But that has not prevented Everton from accessing credit.

Last month a mortgage deed was signed with Vibrac Corporation, a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. As such it is impossible to determine who the lender is and whether it has any links in football – although it must be stressed that in common with all such assignments of central funds, it has been approved by the Premier League.

The loan is a one-year facility for £14m, replacing a mortgage agreed with Investec 12 months previously, in which this season's central funds were signed over to the bank.

That Investec loan was a departure from the terms of the 2009 agreement with Barclays, in which only the same season's Premier League funds were borrowed against to assist with cashflow.

To sell future seasons' income is intrinsically more risky, both for the lender and the mortgager. There can be no guarantees that Everton will even be in the Premier League next season, and although there has been no disclosure of the interest-rate terms, that risk is normally priced into what yield the creditor must pay, making the rate more expensive.

Everton are insouciant about the deal, insisting that even if the worst happens they could cover it from the bumper parachute payments from the Premier League. But that income is meant as a relegation cushion, not to cover cashflow difficulties.
