Sorry if it came over differently,I was pointing out that what was written 'SOUNDED' that way,not that YOU ARE. I'd love more World class players in our team, but I'd also be proud to have our hard working promising 60k player's name on my back too :)

I do your right, so much so that he is the single worst thing which goes under the name Everton Fc , EFC fans are very good , away support is in the top 3 in the league , the history and tradition is in the top 3/4 in the league , the chairman is one of the reasons why a lot of kids now who's mum and dad support Everton and there playing in parks with the new standard Charted top on with Suarrez on the back or Torres , Carroll ect ect instead of getting 60,000 signings on the back of the Everton shirt , the club will disintegrate soon under him

that is down to bad parenting though.

Imagine what Moyes could have done with £65m, he wouldnt have wasted it on overpriced gash, thats for sure, well not all of it! I mean how can anybody think thats good business.

Spot on article.

And it could have been written in any of the last five transfer windows.

What a shower of shite the clowns are who control the fortunes of this club.
No it couldn't they would have commented that over the last five or so years in three of those years we beat our own transfer record three years in a row. But hey, don't let the facts spoil a good blast at the board.

...and after all your moaning and keyboard terrorism (which I'm sure Bill is feeling the scars), we'll finish above Sunderland and those other pretenders and will be in Europe, irrespective of the board buying players or not.

I said last five transfer windows.

I doubt it, but lets say your right, how much longer can that continue ? Not buying anyone (or anyone of note) each window will only serve to weaken the team, you cannot afford to stand still in Football, we certainly can't because we have teams above and beneath us spending lots of money. For a start our paper thin squad is already choc full of players in their twilight years. When they inevitably succumb to age, injuries, loss of form etc who will replace them. We'd need an academy of United (early 90's) or West Ham (late 90's) proportions to maintain the level of quality in the squad and forgive me but aside from one or two, we just don't have it, and if we do have some unknown gems in the reserves, we don't have the means (financial or ambition) to keep them here long enough to see significant progression.

Marouane Fellaini, record signing, purchased for £15m on last day of transfer window September 2008.

Makes it 2008/09 season. Learn to count and check facts before making up your stories.

Its a pint of glass half full and not hating something without trying to work with others to put it right.

I simply hate verbal masturbation which is all this is. The most "potent" plan from Davek (as yes done in jest) is to strap a suicide bomber to Bill. At least he could have gone for Earl.

I agree, but moaning about it doesn't change things. That's all I've been saying. What are we going to do. My personal view is that this should be the last summer this should happen, but we need a real plan to make real change. An uproar about News International, two people setting up a website to diswaid people from advertising and within two days NOTW will never be produced again. That is the power of a good argument, clear objectives and people working together.

Get that happening, done in a respectful manner and I'm on board. Continue with this keyboard masturbation, and you can all simply W**** over your own pretty words which will have no effect.

Transfers and money

It seems everton are the only club in europe that cant seem to scout out decent ,free agents or real bargains ,it makes my blood boil when i get through my letter box a broucher full of everton club merchandise ,which us the fans buy ,but our club dosnt re invest ,we can all list 6-7 players who we could sign for free or loan , players lke
seb larsen, even john carew , do we have scouts or not .

but you made an assertion without seeing if we improve the squad. and lets face it, lack of confidence is growing with all evertonians at the moment. and as for the concerted effort as per NOTW, im all for that mate, but i couldn't organise a p##s up in a brewery, but if someone can do it, count me in.
