Then they get called cowards for not fronting up to it.

By what I've seen the fans were already chanting sack the board while the players were in the middle of the pitch. As I say, and it's just IMO, if the players walk straight off then they don't get the grief because the fans were already focused on the board. The fans only diverted their focus from the board to the players when some of them thought it was a good idea to walk towards the Gwladys street.

For me it reads like this…

1) Blues fans, mostly earning pennies spend what they earn following the team in the city that doesn‘t win a cup every couple of years and make Europe most seasons.
2) same Blues fans having tore up trees keeping the team up last year with their fabulous support see that it was all in vain and that having stayed up, overpaid, underperforming players have all reverted to the cowardly play that took us to the precipice last season
3) same Blues fans turn on board after a soulless, pitiable display from their ‘heroes’ threw three more precious points away.
4) overpaid, underperforming players go over to applause the Blues fans who they have just crapped on yet again.
5) overpaid, underperforming players are then verbally abused by despairing blues fans for abject display
6) overpaid, underperforming players receive further verbal abuse from Blues fans as they leave in their £80 grand cars to go home to their mansions and switch off.

nobody was attacked physically, nobody had eggs thrown at them it was all verbal abuse.

so not ideal, but perhaps the wake up call these turds need? Put up or pee off! Because the performances they are putting in are neuseating.
