As I said I don't care who he supports ( could be an Evertonian maybe not) and I don't question his legitimacy to post what he wants. What I am unequivelently questioning is the content of that email and who it was written by. I know for a fact that there has been no problem with players wages so there is one untruth. Therefore the rest of the email falls into question as far as I'm concerned it's up to the individual to decide if they believe it or not...I don't and the kipper moderator bit is further evidence to me that casts a doubt as that place is dubious

Also worth mentioning that this is the only place I've posted this, other blues who have had the email forwarded to them have posted it themselves elsewhere. Thought it might be an interesting conversation topic to start posting with. Wasn't expecting my integrity (or my status as a blue for that matter) to be called into question!

you must admit that all these people so 'itk ' , who have never even signed onto the forum's before , are all of a sudden getting explosive 'moyesgate' emails ? ............................its as fishy as a fisherman in a bath full of eels !

This notion that Kenwright is preparing to sell...what's the evidence to back that up? Sales of players in a transfer window? Erm yes...and? The truth of the matter is that the club is in a poor condition financially and getting worse (soon to be confirmed later this month when the accounts are released). But Kenwright can struggle on for the next umpteen years by selling an 'asset' in a blue jersey each window as long as the manager he employs puts up with it and we dont fall through the trapdoor into the Championship. You're kidding yourself Damon: there's no inevitability about Kenwright slinging his unwanted hook in the near future.

The more likely scenario is that shortly we'll hear about another grand scheme from the board - some chimera like the rest of them - that will buy them more time by providing some positive PR. God knows what that will be, but there will be something announced as I've never known so much rebellion in the air as there's been in the last few weeks (even if that isn't yet translated into protest).

Quite possibly. As the day has gone on though, it appears that PED from bluekipper (the guy who does the followtonians podcast) is the one seemingly originally received the email from a "source", maybe he'll elaborate on it this week on his podcast?

The content of the email is untrue, the players have been paid which I know for a FACT. Therefore I have every right to question anything else in the email or the person who posts it. It's a forum and is there to be discussed and questioned which in all fairness is what I'm doing. well id say its one of 2 things ... 1. either this PED has been duped by someone who is making up lies. or 2. PED is trying to big himself as itk/gets hits to his blog and is making it up himself.

i neither know nor care which it is , but i do know on a whole that email is factually wrong without question.

complete and utter crapola.

the players have been payed on time every time... if they werent it would have been in the press without a doubt.

elstone has absolutely no say in what players are sold.

why would cahill jags and arteta say there leaving ?considering 2 of them have pretty much signed big contracts for the rest of there career.

felli will be being watched by every big club anyway ... he is world class.

the manager has been happy enough , even praising the chairman.

the squad has looked as happy as it has all season apart from being unhappy at not being able to turn draws into wins.

i actually think that the size of the squad was causing disharmony , the fact we now have a smaller squad means more players will get games , coaches have less to manage and can concentrate working on the things that really matter.

the league position can and will be better , but other than that the only bad thing at the club is the lack of money and the board.

that whole email is a scaremongering piece of cack.

fair play lad i didnt believe the email it was all to easy written and all worst case scenario, but reguardless of me not beliveing the email your post put me in a much better mood, fair play very positive

Ok, not knowing much about the inner workings of our club, I have no idea whether any of it is true or not. If you say the players have been paid and you know that to be 100% true, then I have no reason to doubt you. That point is the most worrying aspect of the email from my POV.

I'm certainly sceptical of the content but considering the backdrop of the last month, I can't quite shake the belief that there could be elements of it with some grain of truth. Perhaps that's the point though, a bad news story today was always going to get legs because of the moods we're all in. Now, where's that cat?

I realize that the depression of our current state makes emails like this more believable. Things are not good that is for sure.

come on you blues , seige mentality........ us , moyes , players vs the board , kopites and the world ......... they dont stand a chance.we are hardened veterans at this game.
