I'm so excited for this game. As of now, I'll be going to the midnight release Thursday night, then I'll go to school Friday. Once I get home, it'll be all Skyrim for about 48 hours straight during the weekend. Eat, sleep, Skyrim.

Goodbye any social life that I had.

I can't help but feel that I'll be a little disappointed due to how big my expectations are though...

Veterans day on Friday- should be no school.

I'm unreasonably excited about Skyrim, but it will yet be a few weeks before I'll have real time to play it.

It is already on my computer. It became available for pre-load via Steam, so it is downloaded and ready to go for me. 1 day and 23 hours to wait!

Pre-ordered, and the first game I've ever put a deposit down on, despite not actually needing to.

And the best thing is, it's nailed on to be a sensational game.

A real old school style game too, instead of the non-stop FPS/MMORPG crap we're forcefed over the last ten years!

BRING IT ON - SKYRIM FFS

Even when the main quest turns out to be disappointingly short (as was the case in Oblivion), I don't think slaying dragons will ever get old.

I know the graphics and game play will be boss, which means the game in whole will be boss. That said, I am still hoping that Skyrim reaches the depth of Morrowind. Elder Scrolls III really is peerless.

Have to agree Morrowind was sublime easily the best elder scrolls game for my money can Skyrim rise above the hype and beat that game? i hope so

Roll on friday i say.

Can someone tell me about this Skyrim game then?

I literally know nothing. What do you do? Why is it so good? Will I like it?

That kinda stuff.

I didn't play any of these until Oblivion after being told they were all really good. Bit boring for me, couldn't be arsed listening to all the tales of woe. Maybe this one will be better.
