They have another one? Been a few years since I was visiting during the last one. Tried to outrace it to get home, ended up with a kid barfing all over the back seat while we were parked under a bridge because he was stressed.

Yeah, apparently this was this past late spring. Barfing in the car is about as bad as it gets with family travel. Rather run out of gas, flat tire, speeding ticket, car-jacking, etc. etc.

Great thread. Gonna Stay local, because I really appreciate some of the countryside/parks we have in the Sefton area.

Formby beach/dunes and pinewoods...

Personally, I'd swerve it on a hot summers day, or get down there early A.M, but it's great all year round. Been down there a few times after we've had snow, and it's just incredible. No surviving pictures unfortunately.

Rimrose Valley is a great little place too.
