This newspaper (it might not be your cup of tea) link is, I think, a great read;

DAVID MOYES EXCLUSIVE | Sport | News Of The World

I laughed at this bit:

"I enjoy Bill. I don't know if he was educated before I came in, but now he understands that we don't get too high when we are winning and we don't get too low when we're losing. We try to keep on an even keel."

Then we have the ambitious bit;

He [Moyes]says: "When I took the job seven years ago, I was happy to sign players to keep me out of the bottom five. Now, the difference is I am looking to sign players who will get me into the top five, keep me there or even push me into the top four. That has changed the dynamics of the club. I know a lot is down to money. But a lot of people would have looked at the players I've bought over the last few years and when asked if they would have got me in the top five or six, they would have said: 'No, they wouldn't!'
"So I have to somewhow keep believing there is a route which is maybe not the route people think you have to go. Can I find some other way?"
"It has not been a quick hit but I hope in years to come people might turn around and say: 'Well, the way to do it is how Everton have done it'."
He [Moyes] declares: "We are going to win something soon. It will happen - sooner rather than later."

Great stuff.

Fantastic link Les. Love this bit;

"We are going to win something soon. It will happen - sooner rather than later. And I'm hoping it is this season. We have been dealt a tough game against Manchester United but we have watched many semi-finals over the years that haven't gone to plan."

I love Moyes, always have.

It just really pisses me off how great he could make us if he had the right backing and the right stability.

We have certainly changed from a team constantly looking over our shoulders to a team looking above (y)

Well done Moyes

I can't help but think what may have been if we got the start to the season right.

We spent weeks playing catch-up.

DM will know that even with a fully fit squad, we are still 3 or 4 'quality footballers' short for top 4. (I think I am saying players who would be regular first teamers)

We can not top the squad up with more of the same, no point if we want to improve.

It is Nice read. He’s getting a lot of praise from the media recently and thoroughly deserved. When you consider the financial restraints he works under (book balancing job in the transfer market last year) and the injuries he’s had to cope with, got to be Manager of the year!

Couldn't think of a better manager for Everton to be honest. He fits us perfectly an I'd love to see him build his own dynasty at Everton. only thing we're missing to make a serious assault at the top four is some decent transfermoney. However, he done an almost perfect job without it. Can't see any other manager having the same impact at whatever club under the same financial restraints Moyes had to work with.

i concur.
whatever happens, moyes is an everton hero..
what about a simple MOYES = EVERTONIAN banner for wembley eh... that'll make him stay!
