The Derby

Yeah my thoughts too, as pro's you can understand a crushing disappointment in the immediate aftermath, however when they as a group got back together you would like to think their thoughts were,"hey we were pretty decent there, that was just a freak goal that un-done us,take this into the forthcoming games and we are really going places"I would like to think Siva and his staff drummed this into them, obviously this hasn't been the case as you say what a spineless mentality running through the core of Everton.

Just goes to show what a massive complex the club and players have when it comes to the RS. IMO this has been a massive detriment to the club over the years.

Some fans appear to hate the RS more than they support us. I basically couldn't give a monkey's what the RS do. I just want us to be succesfull in our own right.

You can also see this in games where some of our fans want us to lose games as it will stop the RS doing something. I want us to win every game we play.

So if this form continues for our final 14 league games It will be down to the Derby defeat?
I just think it destroyed the small amount of self confidence we had. The Mane defeat was bad, but was nowhere near as bad as that defeat. Probably the most painful defeat I've ever seen and I've seen us lose 6-1 against Arsenal, 4-1 against West Brom and a variety of other humiliating performances. If we had simply been outplayed like we did in Bobby's first season and lost 4-0, I would of been unhappy, but I'd of simply said they were the better team. The problem is it's one thing after another, losing in the FA cup when we were looking quite comfortable. Going to Anfield with Koemann in good form and getting beaten. Neither side looked like scoring in the Mane derby, yet a catalog of errors gave them the victory. Results against the bigger teams matter because they'e who your trying to contend with.

Our problems have been entrenched and longstanding, the derby match just confirmed what most of us knew, beforehand.

A poor and inconsistent bunch of players, and club going nowhere.

Its just another excuse being used to hide Silva's inadequacy as a manager. Just like Everton were used as an an excuse when his inadequacy as a manager became apparent at Watford.

Watford took swift action and replaced him with a superior manager. There was none of this he needs at least two years and 500 million pound before we realise that he is every bit as crap as he looks!

I've said it before mate, if after 12 games we're still suffering from the RS defeat, then all that shows is how cowardly, sulky and mentally weak our players and manager are, and things are way, way worse than I actually first thought.

If this is true about knocking the players for six.
Try the real world of poverty amongst other things.
I'm in Glasgow for the weekend and I've seen poor buggers begging (proper beging mind).
If it's that bad get a psychologist in for our players.
