The Derby is coming

I can't remember a single derby Suarez played in where he didnt score against us. At least we're guaranteed that won't happen again.

We'll capitulate as always like but would be nice if we make a real game of it for once even if its 3-2 or something.

We've been better than them for the past few years.

They still find ways to win or get results against us.

It won't be any different this time as well.

It's their Cup Final. They always raise their game against us.

Over to you Roberto...

The Derby is always a game not to look forward to. where form goes out the window and nerves take over for fans and players alike. However, I think, like many others, that The Shoite are just not the same team without Tombstone Gob. He created space for others to exploit. This potentially made other team members feel/look better than they actually are. This also goes for Brenda thinking he is a better tactician than he actually is. When i started watching tonight I thought we would rip them a new one next week and although they actually got a bit stronger i still think we will be too strong for them. Apart from Sterling i don't see any danger in their side. In fact I think we are far more dangerous going forward than them, which isn't usually the case. One area that we must exploit is Lovren. He is cack! Has anyone else noticed the through ball that continually catches him out? Lukaku, Naismith or Eto'o could have a field day against him. I don't usually look forward to Derbies but I think we'll do them!

Well said

We will [Poor language removed] them off the park,

I just want a decent ref (one who has the cahones to card one of them meffs - preferably Stevie-Me - for protesting too much about a legitimate challenge, i.e. the ANTI-Clottenburg).

Eto'o / Lukaku / Naismith front 3 please, McGeady or Atsu as an impact sub and Super-Kev and Bainsey to tear them a new one down the flanks. Oh, and a Mirallas / Balotelli flare-up which sees sub-par Mario sent off for being such a dick.

So...3-1 to the scum then I expect. :dodgy:

No i'm not buzzing for the derby mate. Actually come to think of it; i have never ' buzzed ' before a derby. Such a horrible fixture.

I would happily scrap the fixture and take 2 points at the start of the season.

The joy of a win no way compensates for a loss....that emotion lasts far longer.

Stevie Me is finished, playing as a DM he is as good as Phil Neville. Cross field passes are his only trick now. Agree with Lovren looking out of his depth and Lallana to. Though they will no doubt trot out the "Lallana used to support Everton" crap, although having taken 25mil off them we could say he still does given his performances. Balotelli just seems to walk round angry. I actually think Lambert would do us more harm if they could teach sterling to cross. Them just seem to be lacking a bit of bite upfront.

I want to see Naismith score the winner and do an Eto'o inspired Cameroon style dance in front of either Brenda or the Kop.....

Eto'o might have a point to prove in this one having so say being messed around by them.

Agreed. It's a mystery how we usually finish below them in the league and fail to beat them in the cups. They might have finished 12 points above us last season and walloped us 4-0, but there's no doubt we were much better than them and just desperately unlucky (again!)

Definately a match for Eto'o is this, and thinking about it id like to see McCarthy and Besic rough em up a bit, wont take much for Balo to boil over.

We have a fear of Anfield, someone on here said the other day, treat it like any other game and not over-hype the game and put our players under extra pressure. We have the tools to beat them but we always let the rs bully us especially Gerrard. Martinez got it totally wrong last season at Anfield, I'm hoping he looking at the Villa game and West ham and not do a spurs. Any tactical fans on here know going on? are they copying Chelsea from last season?
