The Derby is coming

The one thing that gives me hope is that Kev is our form player at the moment and he absolutely loathes that lot. I think if we've any chance of winning it'll be Mirallas seizing the game by the scruff of the neck and walloping them.

And of course that ugly turdbag isn't there this time to purposely stand on his foot.

oh ffs, HE ALWAYS DIES IN EVERYTHING!

on a side note i think they should make a show with him and have him die at the end of every episode. It would be funny.

Once again we go into a derby with me absolutely convinced we're better than them... not just in terms of starting XI but of the squad as well.

Looking at their starting XI from the West Ham game I'd only have one of Skrtel or Lovren plus Sterling in our XI over Jagielka/Distin and McGeady. Apart from that they're pants. Still think they'll win though.

Howard

Coleman Jagielka Stones Baines

Barry McCarthy

Mcgeady Eto'o Mirallas

Lukaku

Have atsu come on for mcgeady with kev switching over and Naismith on for one of eto'o or lukaku with Naismith going in the CAM role and one of the forwards remaining up top

Would be some team that... But what about the poor ol' albino Messi?

I actually think our chances of winning have been increasing year on year. Let's face it, we've been rubbish for the last 30 years and the best team has won. But the tide is turning, we have better players and a better squad and law of averages says we have to win there sometime. Just please Mr Lawofaverages let it be this year

We'll beat the crap out of them.
Can we please drop these "but eventually we'll lose"-crap that follows every uttering about our otherwise perfect team? Just don't get it.
Our history is class, our future is in our hands.
Step up,deal with it!!
No more excuses. We're awesome!
Period!!

The Derby is always a game not to look forward to. where form goes out the window and nerves take over for fans and players alike. However, I think, like many others, that The Shoite are just not the same team without Tombstone Gob. He created space for others to exploit. This potentially made other team members feel/look better than they actually are. This also goes for Brenda thinking he is a better tactician than he actually is. When i started watching tonight I thought we would rip them a new one next week and although they actually got a bit stronger i still think we will be too strong for them. Apart from Sterling i don't see any danger in their side. In fact I think we are far more dangerous going forward than them, which isn't usually the case. One area that we must exploit is Lovren. He is cack! Has anyone else noticed the through ball that continually catches him out? Lukaku, Naismith or Eto'o could have a field day against him. I don't usually look forward to Derbies but I think we'll do them!

After the towelling we received last year, I am pretty negative going into the Anfield game. Suspect we will open the scoring...but eventually we'll lose 3-1. One Stevie G penalty nailed on. Another certainty?: Jags will play with a terrified expression

We've been better than them for the past few years.

They still find ways to win or get results against us.

It won't be any different this time as well.
