Here we are, the summer transfer window is upon us. Some enjoy it and some hate it. Evertonians normally have had enough by June 23rd and have accepted we will end up with our 5th choice centre half and some bizzare loan deal on the last day.

Another guarantee is that Evertonians will be moaning at the two people who are heavily involved in these deals. Robert Elstone and Bill Kenwright.

Their incompetence is well documented, yet we are sat on the brink of "the biggest summer for years" they're still running these transfers.

First of all we have been saying this biggest summer for years since the best Everton team I've seen got to a cup final and sadly lost. Every summer goes by and the above phrase gets mentioned and yet it always disappoints.

Why is it these two are set to carry on their hurricane of incompetence for another summer? Why hasn't Morshiri brought in his own deal makers?

Just interested to hear theories and from any lunatic who doesn't believe they're to blame?

We have to give them something to do.

Win win scenario, they either sign boss players to improve the team or they fail horribly and save the club some money on transfers and wages.

Well, we sort of know they are here until the stadium delivery / Moshiri exercise of options.

That said, to me Kenwright will be dragged kicking and screaming, not only out of GP, but of Bramley Moore as well. Can't see him not being in the limelight when a shiny new stadium is about to be opened.

No point in fussing about transfers yet, but we certainly are not well served by continuation of this gentlemans agreement.

I don't see why Kenwright can't be made Life President or something, and Elstone simply removed.

But the bottom line is that this is, or supposedly is, Moshiri's gig.

If he can't identify and remove obstacles to progress in the form of Kenwright and Elstone, then that it is very worrying. Kenwright can be given "something" to do but we should not need him negotiating transfers. It's more likely that he simply will not back down, and Moshiri cannot or will not force the issue.

If that's the case, it is extremely worrying.

If he sees no issue at all, it is catastrophic.

To play devils advocate, I think there is something in it for both sides to imply blame on the other, if things go tits up again. Moshiri can let it be known his hands are tied, and Kenwright can say he is not the one pulling strings anymore.

If people are looking to still blame these two then the blames with Moshiri for keeping them on.

I thought it was Walsh's role to do the signings anyway??

I would believe not if Koemans comments Jan and over the last few months are anything to go by.

People are so good at second guessing and deciding who is to blame. They are also very good at spending other people's money.

Moshiri is no fool and if he thinks these two guys are who he wants, then it is his decision. Might be kinda nice if one or two people appreciated what has been done, rather than criticise everything that hasn't.

And look at the state of the club when Kenwright took over, some are either too young or too entrenched to admit that nothing good was done. For all his faults - and there are many perceived and actual - Kenwright deserves your support because he is the Chairman of our Club. Feel free to say what could be better, but until you put yourself in his shoes, you would never know what he has had to deal with, or without.

Could do without the bile and hatred for any of our players, staff or owners.

If it's effecting our club then we all have right to cast our oppinions no bile in my post

Never said you should not have an opinion. Clearly I invited that, but perhaps a more balanced diatribe from ALL would be appreciated by SOME.

Or am I a "lunatic" that supports these guys?
