R.I.P. Taylor Hawkins, always obvious he loved the life he was living.

Not a Foos fan but I've heard nothing but lovely things about Taylor Hawkins.

RIP Taylor Hawkins. Was randomly listening to Jagged Little Pill for the first time in years on the way into work yesterday morning and thinking how great the instrumentation was on it. Brilliant drummer and no age

Matt Laug played on the album, Taylor was just the touring drummer.

I was lucky enough to see the Foos live in the late 90s just after he joined the band. Even then you cousin see he and Dave had a great relationship. That must’ve helped him step out of Dave’s shadow, must have been incredibly hard for him to carve a name for himself in the drumming world when one of the greats is also in the same band.

He just always seemed to genuinely love music, no matter what it was.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Foo Fighters called it a day with this news. Two men as close as brothers to Dave have been lost now in the prime of their lives.

It must have been a huge boost of confidence though as well I guess as Dave Grohl is very fussy about his drummers, being a drummer himself and a damn good one. Bloody sad news.

That's absolutely awful news. I'm genuinely bummed out reading this. RIP good man, him and Dave always looked like they were so happy together. Like hetero-soul mates. Jeez. Just when you wake up smiling because Everton aren't going to ruin your weekend you read something like this.
