Ah that’s sad news. I’d heard he wasn’t in great health for a while. I remember them breaking through alongside the likes of U2, Big Country and Simple Minds.

He was with Big Country for a while after the Alarm split up. When the Alarm first started they toured the pubs of Flint and I got to meet them a few times, very nice bunch of lads.
