He’d been due to appear with them at Liverpool Comic Con this weekend but had pulled out on Thursday due to what was described as his wife being ill, sadly

He was excellent playing the part of Steve Coogan's Dad in a very underrated drama called Sunshine. Great actor, RIP

Bernard will always be Yosser. I used to wear a badge in my denim jacket back in the early '80's, Gis a Job.

So sad that he's gone.

….Bernard Hill definitely lived in the Old Swan area in 1975 and before his career took off, lovely to read so many tributes to him.
