I did not know his daughter was one of the victims of the Tower Bridge knife attack a few years ago. According to his friends and colleagues he never recovered from that loss. Makes his death even sadder, to me.

Wow i never knew that. She was listed as saskia jones.
Poor fella. Ive two grown up daughters. Id never recover either.

I've been around depression, PTSD, and alcoholism in different forms.

Oh no. Was a regular Star Trek cast member as well, both as Worf’s brother in various episodes and (IMHO his greatest role) as a grownup Jake Sisko in the fantastic episode “The Visitor”.
