Well I been for my results, I have got breast cancer but it's early stage 2, because it's over a wider area and not a lump I have to have a mastectomy but hopefully no chemo or radiotherapy. Thank you to all you kind people who have wished me well xx

Awful news, I’m so sorry. Good that they caught it early though and even better that your frame of mind seems spot on. I’m sure you’ll smash it. Best of luck with everything.

Really sad to hear the news, but also happy that you are strong are enough to share this with us all. On a positive note ( which we all need to find at times ) like has been mentioned previously, they have caught it early. Your strength of character and especially the most important ingredient in life 'humour' ( Putting the baggies first ) I'm sure these will all Bode well for you.

You have your family, you have your Baggies and especially you have us...
if you ever need a pick me up there's always a giggle to find on here ( even if it is at other posters expense ) or just have a little wander into the 'post Funny Stuff thread'
If you need to blow off a bit of steam, we always have 'The New Arena' thread Where I'm sure 'Chico' and his Multi's will be gladly waiting to accommodate you.

Sorry to hear that Sue but as you and others have said least it is an early diagnosis. Best of luck with the operation and I hope you heel up soon. Would be good if we can open up a new thread to post updates on, under the current banner it gives me palpitations.

Yeah definitely, exactly what I was thinking before posting a message. @Littlesue needs to be in an 'Alive and Kicking' thread ( Or just a thread titled with positivity ) Others that feel the need/want to share aswell obviously, will have a place to go.

Sue, you have been in my prayers. DV you will get through this safely and come out the other side with strength of mind and body.

My wife went through this in 2018/19. She had a mastectomy and removal of lymph nodes.

After chemo and radiotherapy she returned to work in early 2020 and, DG, has had no relapse. Regular scans have been clear.

Sorry to hear this Sue. Thoughts are with you, and echoing what others have already said, the fact that they’ve caught it early is a good thing. I’m sure it’ll work out ok.
