Christmas seems to be time when lots of celebs fall off their perch. Its probably not just celebs and I'm fairly sure much is due to overindulgence of the season.

To me Christmas isn't Christmas without the Queen mum being rushed to hospital with a fish bone stuck in her throat.

RIP Mr Cohen.

Sad news. With the latest world cup already drifting into history I was only thinking about the survivors of the 66 side. Cohen very much underrated but always held his own against our wingers.
Two left now off the top of my head. Geoff Hurst seems to get younger each time I see him while poor old Booby Charlton really hit bad with dementia. Don't get old is the message.

Bloody hell. Just re-read my post and am fuming about my monstrous spelling error. Hope I'm to be forgiven.

We put them on for a night, and at 20, I thought I knew a lot about that kind of music. At their soundcheck I was chatting to him for ages, thinking I knew a lot about the history of dance music, dropping a few names, but he subtly told me I needed to learn a lot more lol
