Very sad news, a great musician and showman. Every now and again, when the mood is right, I listen to Brain Salad Surgery. At their peak several years before my time. I suppose ELP represented both the best and worst of prog rock.

They did go on a bit in solos !

Always thought 'Triumvirat' were far better at being ELP if that makes sense.

Saw The Nice at Liverpool Uni in 1970 - they did "America" in that gig then at St Georges Hall in '71 they did the whole of Pictures at an Exhibition - Emerson was indeed a keyboard virtuoso -still play his music - not a good year so far for various members of bands in my LP collection...:dodgy::dodgy:

Better sell them.

No fight there Lemmy can roadie and carry his case!
Nah I can't imagine they're even in the same band, as the music was just too different (imo).

Gar Samuelson on Drums, Lemmy - Vocals and/or bass, Jeff Hanneman - guitar, and, if that's to be a four-piece, Paul Baloff as a vocalist or Cliff Burton as bassist (if Lemmy's not doing bass). Then again, all of them together could work, what with Lemmy's bass sounded more like a rhythm guitar anyway, so you can have both him and Cliff in the same band I guess lol

Sad news about ELP though... Wasn't that much a fan, but my dad was, so I've listened to loads of their stuff.
