If anyone watched big brother, Nikki Grahame passed away yesterday. Just 38 years of age.

I didn't know she had anorexia but I saw some pictures of her today when I heard the news and they were haunting

I hope she's finally at peace now

Genuinely this news means much more to me than the death of that other fella today. This guy was the soundtrack to my early adult life

The death of any Alberto,Juan,Jose,Pedro or Vicente who died of Covid in my local hospital this week means far more to me.

I’d no idea who she was tbh, now having read up on her it is incredibly sad to die at such a young age having suffered from anorexia. My own daughter is of similar age and it would destroy my wife and I for something like that to happen. A tortured soul R.I.P......

Yes, you're right. It wasn't the only show to do so, though. The likes of X Factor, Pop Idol, Jeremy Kyle etc... all of whom gave a platform to vulnerable people to appear on national TV. And that publicity would have followed them for years after.

That said, these days, vulnerable people don't need national TV to get the attention they crave... They bypass TV, and get that attention via Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc and open themselves up to the world. What can you do about that?

True, most of those reality shows can be a bit grim when you think about it, not that I’m an avid viewer (unlike the mrs)..... guess the main difference with social media is those people control their own narrative and aren’t put into high stress environments where they don’t have control..... but if there wasn’t an audience for it they wouldn’t make the shows either

Never watched it before because they generally bored me but smoked a couple blunts to his versus with snoop.

Highly recommend, also kinda sad cuz I never seen X like that. He was running out of breath and [Poor language removed]. Was def not totally himself. His personality was there but physically it seemed like he was limited.
