Oh yeah, they had an epic falling out didnt they? Remember reading an article about it ages ago. Bewes seemed a really really bitter man. Had some big personal problems as well. Bankruptcy or booze or something.

Never liked his politics. We wrote to him, in verse, whilst in 6th form expressing our dislike of the (then) new politics and economics. He replied in kind. Must say something about him...........
