It's another one of those weeks. Too young to have left us already. Legend of the game, I spent a lot of my youth watching Eric do his stuff on TV and to think he's not around anymore is a sad sad thought. RIP Eric.

RIP Eric. Legend of the game and by all accounts a thoroughly nice bloke to boot. Game, shot and the final leg, Eric Bristow. Too early, but the biggest darts player of the last 30 years to die imo.

I always liked Bristow, not only a great player and showman but I also enjoyed his cheeky chappy persona.

Lets not forget also it was he that saw the potential in Phil Taylor and bankrolled him until he became a success.
