Watching the Generation game during the seventies was probably the last time that I regularly sat with my parents watching the telly together.

Bruce was so quick witted to pick up on guests mistakes and faux pas and make fun of them.

He would probably have been the first to say he had a great life and a fantastic career and I guess it truly is one of those occasions where in the ever changing world of today's TV we can say we may never see his like again.

RIP Sir Bruce Forsyth thanks for the memories.
