Sad about Carrie Fisher but not the shock that some of the others were as we all expected it for a few days.

Been a ridiculous year.

Not unexpected but Carrie Fisher has also now gone to a galaxy far, far away. Literally in tears - Star Wars has been such a huge part of my life. With the Alderaanians now - sleep tight sweet princess. X

Yeah, alright @tommye and @Bungle, calm down FFS. Some people form deep associations with stuff you don't and maybe it affects them a bit when caught off guard. No, not ACTUALLY crying, but a lump in the throat all the same. X

I feel quite sad about Carrie Fisher's death. Not because of any connection with her work (Star Wars) or knowledge of her campaigning work but entirely because her mother, Debbie Reynolds, has now outlived her. I say this on the night before the anniversary of my own mother's passing and because my brother died 4 months before her.

I think we'll have to blame all this on the Kopites. If they would stop scoring and winning so much then perhaps all the great and the good would stay a bit longer.
