More years ago than I care to remember he used to occasionally drink, and play darts, in my local. He was a workmate in Knowsley Council of someone I know. Sound bloke then.

Think someone should have had a word in his ear mate coz he was coming across as a right up his own hoop bore in the build up to this. Maybe it got lost as tongue in cheek i dunno. But a lot of people were going right off him.

My older brother beat his Dad in the Huyton Prescot dart league ages ago - a few of his family played in that league- his Dad then predicted a certain Steven Bunting would make it to at the Merseyside dart team - back the that was an achievement....
Personally he has done well - maybe never win a world championship though....
