The Curious Case of Nikica Jelavic and Papiss Cisse

we keep sign posting we are passing to baines for him to cross from the byline so its 60-40 when the ball reaches the box, coleman tried it today coming inside and getting closer to the box with a cross in from there. All these high balls are controlled by fellaini and then passed back and the attack is lost i want to see more invention in the centre and then played on to jelavic where he likes it, or for piennar to collect it close to the box and chipped in. There are too many hopefull crosses when they are prepared for it or looking for that last pass, though just my opinion. I dont think its jelavic fault but he is going offside too much but at least he is trying to stay up a bit more, the goals will come with a little more accuracy from an correct pass from the midfielders.

^^ spot on, kenwright is a clown, it is a travesty moyes hasnt had proper backing as surely even from a business stand point then the CL money we would surely receive with a little support would help line the coffins

little bit unfair kenwright expecting moyes to be magician

Go on then lad, who should we have bought instead if you want rid ?

Nice one, so because I don't rate Jela then I have to know exactly who could do us a better job, coming from the lad who criticized me for ****ging off Joe Cole, how did West Ham get on today. I have no Idea who we should have instead but that does not make Jelavic a decent striker.

Some may say he is a crap player but had a good run of form last season, so...

well he is clearly a really good finisher given his record in scotland, (in euros too?) and he showed it for everton

things just arent falling his way. he has still got a few goals this seasoin which shows what a quality player he is, honestly i still rate him as highly as i did in may, he is the big man , 1 of best finishers in league

Osman had a chance to cut the ball back to Jelavic to slot it in just now, but opted to dribble further and get it to Anichebe.
There aren't too many chance being played directly to him the way he wants, and when they do, their often poorly timed/intercepted.
With more clear chances Jela's form will come back.

It's Catch 22 really, do you want:

-Fellaini to carry on with the form of his life at the expense of Jelavic not scoring
or
-Drop Fellaini back into CM where he could potentially go back to how bad he used to be (bold statement I know), which would allow Jelavic to start scoring again?

Surely sarcastic, I hope.

Otherwise a touch out of order, anyone can call names, no matter the age, but adults discuss.

sorry mate,i have edited post was abit ott, just sick and tired of ppl so reactionary, i do thinkk ur post was ott tho and unnecesarily provocative
hope i never offended u mate,
cheers

Think Jelavic is making more runs into the channels than he was last year, also last year a lot of his goals were coming when we got to the by-line and pulled it back towards the penalty spot were he was finding the space, that is something that we don't seem to be doing this year. Osman had a chance to do it today but instead tried to hit it across the goal a yard from the post which was easy to cut out.

No probs mart this aint reactionary from me though on at least 3 efc sites I have stated my belief that he would not have got 10 league goals this season and Martslinger can back me up if he is on here tonight as he uses multiple forums, I made that statement the week of the Southampton game where he bagged 2 goals 1 of which was a fantastic finish and at that time I was never so happy to appear wrong, but unfortunately my prediction (given his last 16 games) is looking write, and my pride would never come ahead of everton in any way.
