Sir Timothy of Cahill I believe was 1.7 million pounds. If he were in his prime today he'd easily be a 30-50 million pound player. Somehow I still feel he'd be overlooked by the truly big teams, even though he was regularly scoring against them and smashing in volleys in World Cups, etc.

Kanchelskis would be close to nine figures in his prime. Lukaku was 28 million, sold for 80 million to United, but if in his prime today would very easily surpass the 120 million Isak was sold for - much better striker.

Arteta 4 million-ish, easily a 30-50 million pound player today.

He certainly had a very bad injury, was it against us on a snow bound pitch at Burnden Park?
