THE COLOUR RED

Our kid is two years older than me - he was nine at the time and I was seven - he said that I'd wear red before him. Well he's nearly fifty now and the bet remains unsettled.

As kids we wouldn't eat the Penguin chocolate biscuits that we're in a red wrapper - two blue ones and two greens were all that we scoffed. Parents knew about our bet and put up with it.

Refuse to drink Carlsberg, Crown paint is not even looked at, through away a pair of New Balance boots....you get the picture.

Ridiculous I know, but that's how it's been for me.

Same hear nivea stuff thrown out replaced with sure

To be honest this might be because I'm welsh but i only have a problem with red liverpool shirts/stadium/banners etc. Anything else i don't see it in the same way, i wouldn't let them own a colour all to themselves.

I do understand though it may be different if you live in the city, i expect if you bought a Ferrari that happened to be red your RS neighbour would be giving it all that about the colour before he even mentioned that you have a Ferrari!

Crying and shaking that so called blues can actually sit there and type R*D,you disgust me

I'm similar but not because of any Welsh roots etc, but rather I simply won't let that shower force me not to do something. Won't let them win!

Obviously I don't regularly wear red etc, and definitely wouldn't for the match, but I have owned a few red t-shirts over the years.
