Rosenior was always on a hiding to nothing with Chelsea, feel sorry for him but hopefully the payout helps him take some time out and he lands back on his feet

Actually feel a bit sly on Rosenior, he was doing a fine job at Strasbourg then gets forced into the Chelsea job that he clearly wasn’t ready for. I get that he’ll have got a handsome pay rise but now his reputation’s in tatters all because of BlueCo’s model.
Could he really? If BlueCo didn’t own Strasbourg, sure.I mean he wasn’t forced. He could have said no.
Do you think? I feel like with multi club groups players/managers are very much just pieces to be moved around. He’d not have been forced but would’ve felt very pressured to take the job I imagine.I mean he wasn’t forced. He could have said no.

But they do and if he’d turned the Chelsea job down they could well have sacked him anyway for “lack of ambition”, “not committing to vision of the ownership” or just out of pique.
At least this way he got a chance at trying to see if he could do the role, will have gained some valuable (if painful) experience and presumably will get a good payout.
